Technology has opened up the world for us. We can learn so much more. We can connect with so many more people. But it’s also messy. We allowed it to be tainted by our biases and our understanding of the world. And our world is imperfect. We are imperfect.
Eventually, imperfection seeps in the new technology. The world, our new world, is designed to be a complex mesh of interactions between humans and technology, following a fixed set of rules.
I often wonder what the world might look like when the machines wake up.
While pondering over a world with conscious AI, I made this abstract drawing. A representation of a complex web of machines, with life and consciousness, connected with each other, a maze with no apparent solution, perfect in its imperfection.
